from pebbled rooftops
the warm breath of chimneys cloud
worry ghosts skyward
to dusty blue and orange
outside this place of healing
My youngest son spent Christmas in the hospital. I wrote this while looking out the window of his room at daybreak. He’s home, but there’s much to mend yet.

Beautiful. Sending positive thoughts your way.
Adding positive vibes. ‘worry ghosts skyward’ is a captivating picture.
You be well and take care of yourself as also.
Really beautiful. Like Jules, I found the ‘worry ghosts skyward’ captivating and a bit haunting (no pun intended). For me, it was like sending the worry out to the Universe; a letting go and allowing healing to take place. So sorry for your son’s health issues.
Peace to you and yours.

Just to let you know that I have nominated you for the ‘Very Inspiring Blog Award’ see
http://jahnosecret.wordpress.com/2013/01/08/very-inspiring-blogger-award/ for details. I hope your son is better soon – I would be happy to send healing if this is your wish. Peace
Thank you so much! I’m flattered that you would think to nominate me for this award!
I apologize for getting back to you so slowly. It has been hard for me to get back in the swing of things after the rough end to last year, and the very draining and unsure start to this one as well.
I greatly appreciate your offering of thoughts and positive energy towards my youngest son. He is doing quite well right now – and my wife and I are very thankful for that. With autism we’ve learned to expect the unexpected. But such a serious back injury – with no discernible cause – was a most unpleasant surprise. . . .
If I disappear again from my posts – or don’t return a comment promptly –it’s likely because there’s an issue with my child. I beg your patience!
Thank you again for the nomination!
This is a beautiful piece of writing. I hope your son is doing better, and that he continues to heal and grow stronger.
